For people that believe you cannot build something on nothing, a support for Femi is building on something.

I know a lot of us have given up on the country. I also know a lot of people truly believe we will make it as a country, however, they just don't know how it will start.

Fellow Nigerians, my name is Femi Olafunmiloye. I'm running to be a member of the house of representatives representing the good people of 2 local governments in the south of Ondo state making Odigbo and Ileoluji-Okeigbo Federal Constituency.

I assure you, this is not about me, this is a Nigerian project. I am not your regular politician. I have asked myself why I want to do this. Some people feel it's not for people like me. Some feel I'm too competent to play the game. So I ask, how do we get things back on track in our country, if our competent hands stay away?

I discovered people are actually tired of regular politicians, but they are not presented with viable alternatives and are left with no choice. These same people have however been configured to things working in a certain way. It will take a while to reverse this trend. It will require a period of time where we have competent people increase in number to govern the country. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I intend to kick start.

I truly want to act as that catalyst for competent people to run the affairs of government. There's no other way towards achieving a great Nigeria.

There's no other way to create a system that rewards competence and good deeds. There's no other way to build a nation like the ones we all live or visit abroad. At a time in the course of developed countries, the citizens rose. They faced the reality and acted.

The task is enormous, I agree. I am one that's not new to difficult tasks. I have always applied the same principle - that for you to get the desired result, you have to act. I do not fail.

The only way of getting competent people into arena of power and decision making in Nigeria is to get the community to fund them. Since most competent hands do not have loose money or state funds to spend, they are discouraged from coming into the arena. Truth is to win an election in Nigeria requires money. However, with pedigree and substance, you can spend less than a typical politician.

I am an engineer, I know how to proffer solutions to problems. And yes. I have deep political pedigree, I also have brought ideas and been at the corridor of government alongside my wife where our records speak for themselves.

With your support, we can chart a new course  for our nation. A course that politicians are not tied to the apron of godfathers, but to the people.

Your support will see that we create a template that can be replicated across the country and we will take our country back eventually!

Ladies and gentlemen, we simply cannot continue like this. I see imminent danger if we don't start to reverse the trend of having the worst of us govern the rest of us.

Let's rally round Femi Olafunmiloye, let's begin the process of reclamation. Let's sound the bell loud and clear that the people are taking charge of their country.
